· January was snowed out…sorry if we missed you! Look for “Passionate Arts Center” weather closings on Channel 9 WCPO.
· All of our shows include Artist Meet-and-Greet mingling during the First Friday Gallery Hop. Come to our cozy gallery, meet the artists and talk with them about their work.
· Enjoy complimentary refreshments, intimate gathering, music, and often hands-on art experiences.
· There are six more galleries/exhibits within a one-block radius of Gallery 31. Meet friends or stop on your way home from work; enjoy the “Hop” and then have dinner nearby at restaurants on Madison/Greenup or in MainStrasse Village.

“HEART OF MY HEART” Feb 5 through 12

MARCH
“Simply SPRING!” Mar 5 through April 16
· Opening Reception, First Friday, March 5, 6 pm to 10 pm
· Designer Terry Eklund will be there with her garment “Strength and Dignity”. Teresa is a successful business owner, entrepreneur and lecturer. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP with a degree in Fashion Design. She has worked professionally as a Bridal designer, evening wear designer, children’s wear designer, silk painter and sportswear designer.
· March 14th, 2 to 4 pm, Tea with TERRY. In this relaxed lecture Teresa Eklund will go through many aspects of fashion and beauty. She will talk about current trends, the mark of a well-made garment and how to choose color, silhouette and styles that enhance your natural beauty. Also you will be the first to view garments from her new line Maundy Thursday by Teresa Eklund launching spring 2010
APRIL
“Simply SPRING!” Show continues through April 23
· Reception, First Friday April 2, 6 pm to 10 pm
· April 18, Sunday, 2 pm to 4 pm, Tea with BARBARA. Milliner Barbara Baxter, talking about HATS. Many of Barbara’s hats find their way to the Kentucky Derby on the first Saturday in May. Find out how to wear a hat, what types fit what faces, and more details about owning and caring for hats.
MAY

· Covington Art Club High School Scholarship Exhibit, with students from area Northern Kentucky high schools competing for scholarships in visual art and creative writing. Second Floor also.
JUNE
“Summer Breeze”, June 4 through July 23
· Opening Reception, First Friday June 4, 6 pm to 10 pm
· Silk painting outside on the sidewalk. All are invited to contribute a stroke or two!
